The Real Dance/Life

Being still, just being, and listening – here´s a challenge, and a jewel, most people don´t even understand. In dance as in life.

The constant chatter, empty movements pulled by automatic responses to a life which is already dead; the stress, the hurry and the fear of not being enough – a frozen mind in a closed heart with a soul dragged around the floor, like an old useless rag, and a body crying without being heard. I see it happening in Egyptian Dance as much as I see it in Life.

I know most people won´t understand what I´m saying but that won´t stop me from saying it. And, most importantly, doing it. Or not doing* which is precisely the question.
