Once upon a time in Mexico

Once upon a time (last November) in Mexico,

A girl met a group of girls and they danced their hearts out.

They didn´t move like machines or aimed to please; they couldn´t care less about circus tricks, competition, proving their worth or any other kind of bullshit nonsense.

They felt each movement as if they were being touched, or touching, the love of their life; they allowed themselves to exist (being still), live (in)the music – from the inside out – and talk with nothing less than their whole beings. They happened to be Dancers.

The End.

Video: me, teaching the end of my “Lessa faker” choreography. Music by Om Kolthoum.
