Be what you wish to see in the world – Mahatma Ghandi said it, somewhere between India and England. The more I live – and learn – the more I subscribe to it. Most people – me included – don´t realize how much time and energy we lose investing in the negative, the stuff and examples we don´t like. I´ve turned the tables around for quite a while: if I don´t like something, I ignore it. I let it be, go, rot in its own time. I share, focus and promote what I DO like. Period. Criticizing something we dislike is nothing but a masked way of promoting it; expanding it; making it stronger.
When I say it, I´m instantly considered as the Official Bitch but, you know what?, I´ve earned myself the right not to give a damn about what people – in particular, ignorant people – think of me. Moving on and focusing on what I want to see in the world. Furthermore: creating what I wish to see in the world. The rest is just noise, senseless noise.
